The Delfonics singer Randy Cain has died at his home in New Jersey. He was 63.
Cain’s body was found last Thursday (April 9). The cause of death is not clear.
The singer founded the group in Philadelphia in the late 1960s along with brothers William and Wilbert Hart.
They were responsible for such hits as the Grammy-winning ‘Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time’ and ‘La-La (Means I Love You)’.
Cain quit in 1971 in order to form Blue Magic, but he returned in later versions of The Delfonics.
The group’s music has been sampled by the likes of The Fugees and Missy Elliot.
