US rapper T.I. is to re-release his latest album ‘Paper Trail’ with five additional new tracks.
The rapper, who was last month sentenced to a year and a day in prison, said he had a number of unheard songs that could make the re-release.
"I'm still in the process of picking the songs but I'm also still recording,” he told MTV.
“I'm able to record any time - through the best of times and through the worst of times, I'm still able to record.
“It may change the sort of song you do, but you never can tell. You never know until that moment gets there."
The unheard songs include collaborations with R&B stars Ciara and The-Dream, as well as a special track with Kanye West.
‘Paper Trail’ is T.I.’s most commercially successful album to date. The re-issue is due later this year.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the rapper was sentenced om March 27th after pleading guilty to weapons charges.
He is due to report to prison within sixty days of his sentencing.
