The original Beatles catalogue has been digitally re-mastered for release this September.
The collection includes all twelve of the band’s albums, as well as Magical Mystery Tour, which was originally introduced to the catalogue in 1987.
Meanwhile, the anthology collections 'Past Masters Vol. I and II' have been combined as one title, which spans 16 discs.
A team of engineers at the Abbey Road Studios in London have spent the last four years digitally re-mastering the Beatles catalogue.
The process involved using state of the art recording technology alongside vintage studio equipment.
Each CD will be packaged with its replicated original UK album art, newly written liner notes and rare photos.
The digitally re-mastered catalogue will be released on September 9th – the same day as the band’s forthcoming Rock Band video game.
Meanwhile, a statement said discussions to release the catalogue digitally were still ongoing.
