A series of open casting calls are being held across America for the forthcoming musical adaptation of Spider-Man, which features music by U2.
The auditions will take place in Florida, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago and Austin throughout April and May.
Directors are looking to cast “performers with dynamic rock/pop voices including those with experience in bands and as solo performers".
As previously reported on Gigwise, the musical adaptation of Spider-Man will open on Broadway next February.
U2’s The Edge and Bono have written the music and lyrics for the production, which has been directed by Julie Taymor and adapted for the stage by scriptwriter Glenn Berger.
