The Dead Weather, the new side-project of White Stripes star Jack White, will play their first public show in New York next week.
The band, fronted by The Kills’ Alison Mosshart, will perform at The Bowery Ballroom on April 14th.
Tickets for the show are scheduled to go on sale tomorrow morning (April 8th) at 10am (EST).
As previously reported on Gigwise, The Dead Weather played their first gig, a private show in Nashville, last month.
The band also includes Dead Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age and The Greenhornes' Jack Lawrence.
White told the Associated Press news agency that he hadn't originally intended for The Dead Weather to become a full time project.
"The idea was to do a 7-inch single and be done with it, but we started writing songs and something happened," he said.
The Dead Weather’s debut single is available on iTunes now.
