Little Boots is to record a new version of US rapper Kid Cudi's hit single 'Day N' Nite', Gigwise can reveal.
The 25-year-old singer told Gigwise the pair discussed the collaboration following their surprise performance together at the recent SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.
The recording is expected to be used in the promotion for Kid Cudi's debut album, 'Man on the Moon: The Guardians'.
“He wants to record the cover I did with pianos and strings and do a version of that for his album trailer or something,” she told Gigwise.
Little Boots, who originally covered the song in her bedroom, said she thought the re-working could be “really interesting”.
The singer also refused to rule out a possible collaboration with Kanye West after she met the rapper in Texas.
“Didn’t really talk to Kanye about collaborations but never say never,” she said.
Little Boots' debut album, 'Hands', is out in June. You can read an exclusive interview on Gigwise here.
