US rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West have both expressed a desire to work with Kasabian, it's been claimed.
Both rappers are said to be drawn to the the band's combination of rock and electronic music.
“Kasabian’s publishing deal is coming up soon and Jay-Z has heard their music and loved it,” a source told The Sun newspaper.
“It’s rock ’n’ roll that appeals to different music fans. The new stuff could fill any dance floor.
“Kanye loves British music and was bowled over by the last Kasabian album. It could open the door to the US for the band.”
Kasabian previewed songs from their forthcoming album, 'The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum’, at London's Royal Albert Hall on Friday (March 27th).
Fans can download their new single, 'Vlad The Impaler', for free from the group's official website starting tomorrow.
'The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ is released on June 8th.
