Spandau Ballet Add Second London Date To Reunion Tour

Spandau Ballet have been forced to add a second night at London's O2 Arena to their reunion tour.

Tickets for the band's original date – on October 20th – sold out in twenty minutes this morning (March 27th).

The 80s pop group will now also perform at the O2 Arena on October 21st.

In a statement, songwriter Gary Kemp said: "There's been a phenomenal response to the tour going on sale this morning and even more special that our hometown gig has sold out and we are adding an extra date.”

As previously reported on Gigwise, Spandau Ballet announced their reformation on HMS Belfast earlier this week, twenty years after they split.

The band's reunion dates in the UK and Ireland form part of a more extensive world tour.
