Faith No More will headline this year’s Hove Festival in Norway, Gigwise can exclusively reveal.
The recently reunited band join previously announced headlines Franz Ferdinand, The Killers and Slipknot at the event in June.
Faith No More formed in 1982 and achieved widespread airplay in the late eighties following the release of their 1989 album 'The Real Thing'.
The band, fronted by Mike Patton, split in 1998.
Festival organiser Melvin Benn described the band’s participation as “a hell of a coup for Hove”.
“Faith No More’s music remains relevant today and their influence over today's younger bands is huge,” he added.
The Hove festival, now in its third year, will take place from June 22nd-25th on an island near the city of Arendal.
Other band’s scheduled to appear at the event include The Ting Tings, Q-Tip, Fleet Foxes, Crookers, Disturbed, Metronomy and Eagles of Death Metal.
