The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr And Agyness Deyn 'Split Up'

The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr has ended his high profile relationship with supermodel Agyness Deyn, according to reports.

A mock obituary in New York Magazine said the couple's relationship had “passed away recently”.

“The cause of death of the relationship was by mutual agreement and sources say the relationship has been reincarnated as the friendship,” the message read.

Hammond Jr and Deyn have yet to comment on the reports.

The pair began dating each other publicly last summer and were reported to have moved into a property in Brooklyn, New York together in December.

Deyn, who last year appeared on a single by the Five O'Clock Heroes, previously dated Josh Hubbard of The Paddingtons.

As previously reported on Gigwise, The Strokes are due to begin work on their fourth studio album this year.
