Elbow, De La Soul and Kraftwerk will all take part in this year's Manchester Festival, organisers have announced.
The initial line up for the event, which takes place at various venues from July 2nd-19th, also includes Antony And The Johnsons, and Laurie Anderson and Lou Reed.
The festival will also showcase the Adam Curtis and Punchdrunk production It Felt Like a Kiss, which features music by Blur's Damon Albarn.
The singer last appeared at the bi-annual event two years ago to premiere his opera, Monkey: A Journey The West.
Other acts expected to appear over the month of July include Mystery Jets and Amadou and Mariam.
