Prince To Play Three Secret Gigs, Launches New Website

Prince will play three gigs in one day in Los Angeles next week to mark the release of his new studio albums.

The singer will play with a different band at each show on the evening of March 28th. The location of each gig will be announced over the coming days.

Prince is scheduled to release his new three-disc CD exclusively via Target on March 29th.

The package includes two new Prince albums, 'LOtUSFLOW3R' and 'MPLSoUND', and a studio effort from his protégé Bria Valente.

Meanwhile, in a bid to manage his own content, the singer will launch a new website - LotusFlow3r.com – on March 24th which allows fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access.

As well as being able to purchase the Prince's new material, fans will be able to buy concert tickets and see exclusive photos and video footage for an annual membership fee of $77.

It is also expected that Prince will use the website to broadcast live shows from his home.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Prince will stage a three night residency on the US chat show, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, from March 25th-27th.

Prince, a six-time Grammy Award winner, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
