Charlotte Hatherley, former guitarist with Ash, is to spend the year touring with Bat For Lashes.
Hatherley will join Natasha Khan from April to September – a run which includes UK, European and US dates.
In a message on her website Hatherley wrote: "I'm happy as Larry because the music is so ace and I not only get to play heavily chorused guitar a la The Cure, but get to play throbbingly fuzzed-up bass, keyboards and twinkly bells.”
Hatherley added that she is currently recording her third solo album, 'Cinnabar City', which will be released in September.
The album will be preceded by the single, 'White', which is due out in the summer.
