Fans of Madonna have been asked to suggest what songs they would like to see on her forthcoming Greatest Hits album via Twitter.
The singer's manager Guy Oseary sent out a message ('tweet') to his followers yesterday morning (March 17th) asking for song choices.
He late wrote on his micro-blog: “Thank you to everyone that gave me there pick of song ideas for Madonna’s greatest hits. I will pass along all your thoughts.”
The album, Madonna's last with Warner Records, is due to be released this autumn.
In an interview with People, the singer's publicist Liz Rosenberg said Madonna was “excited” about the release, which could include new material.
"Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album," Rosenburg said.
Madonna ended her 27-year partnership in with Warner Records in 2007 in order to sign an all-encompassing deal with concert promoter Live Nation.
The singer is due to resume her Sticky & Sweet world tour this summer.
