Britney Spears has no plans to collaborate with fellow musicians on her Circus tour, a statement on the singer's website says.
Recent tabloid reports, quoting Spears' supposed stylist, David Alexander, suggested Madonna was set to join the star at a series of shows.
But a statement on Spears' website said: “Despite rumours otherwise, at the moment Britney has no plans to collaborate with anyone in the near future at any of her upcoming performances.
“PS- David Alexander is not Britney's stylist nor have we ever heard of him.”
Madonna made a surprise visit to watch Spears' perform in New York last week, but did not join her onstage.
Spears' 31-date tour will call at venues across the US before coming to Europe in the summer.
Tickets are still available via the Gigwise Gig Guide.
