Kate Nash has revealed that she has demoed 14 to 16 songs for her as-yet-untitled second album.
The singer, who is due to release the album in the summer, is in the process of finding a producer to help finish the record.
"I've done a bunch of demos," Nash told the BBC.
"I've got about 14 to 16 songs recorded and I'm going to do another session at the end of the month."
The singer, who has previously stated that her new songs are heavier than those on her 2007 debut 'Made of Bricks', said she was “excited” about “getting stuck into new material”.
She added: "It's different and it's fun to be doing something new."
