Pixies To Perform At Isle Of Wight Festival

The Pixies have been added to the line up for this year's Isle of Wight festival.

The American group will perform on the main stage on June 14th ahead of headline act Neil Young.

Organiser John Giddings said: “It was hard to think of someone capable of complementing the musical talent of Neil Young but once I had the idea it was blindly obvious and it will surely be a legendary day on the Isle of Wight.”

As previously reported on Gigwise, The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Stereophonics and Razorlight are among the band's performing at this year's festival.

Tickets for the Isle of Wight festival, which runs from June 12th-14th, are on sale now and available through Gigwise here.
