U2's guitarist The Edge has said the band haven't yet established a timetable for the release of their next album.
Singer Bono said last month that the record, entitled 'Songs of Ascent', would be released in early 2010.
But, in an interview with MTV, the group's guitarist said they wanted to maintain focus on their latest album 'No Line On The Horizon'.
"We have talked about a second album. We certainly have loads of material," The Edge said.
"But we're still so delighted with this record. It's hard to put a timetable on it."
As previously reported on Gigwise, U2 will play an extensive world tour this summer in support of their new record.
