Neil Young To Headline Glastonbury Festival With Bruce Springsteen, Blur

Neil Young has been confirmed as the final headliner at this summer's Glastonbury festival.

Organiser Michael Eavis said Young's involvement was “big news” for the festival and personally a “dream come true”.

“I've seen him play many times over the years but I think he's better than ever at the moment, it's one hell of a show,” he told The Guardian newspaper.

The veteran singer joins previously announced headliners Bruce Springsteen and the recently reformed Blur.

Other performers this year include Franz Ferdinand, Lily Allen and Fleet Foxes.

The Glastonbury festival in Somerset will take place from June 26th-28th. Tickets have sold out.

Other than Blur, I'm not impressed with the headliners at all. Springsteen and Young? I mean, WTF!?

springsteen and blur are good headliners. young, prob is to some people (the older generation). but hey, there are plenty of stages at glasto, may have to visit trash city a little earlier on the friday night. yeahhhhhhhhh.

Who ever said WTF to Springsteen and Young...you gotta be kidding me right. These two are one of the most influential (Young esp) artists ever and biggest (If you do it in terms of albums sold). Christ some people need to get a grip, hey it could have been tripe like Kaiser Chiefs or Snow Patrol headlining.... Can't wait, roll on June!
