Memorabilia belonging to the likes of Amy Winehouse and The Rolling Stones has gone on display in London.
The items form part of the British Music Experience at the O2 Arena.
The exhibition which has been divided into seven eras and also includes artefacts from David Bowie, Duran Duran and Pulp's Jarvis Cocker.
Harvey Goldsmith, the exhibition's chairman, told the BBC that the collection "reflects the rich history of fantastic talent that we have spawned continuously that has conquered the world".
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn famous dance routines such as the macarena and play on musical instruments.
The exhibition culminates in a 'live' concert experience, which is designed to simulate the emotions of going to a gig.
Organisers hope the British Music Experience will attract 350,000 visitors a year. Tickets are priced at £15.
