Neil Young will headline this summer's Isle of Wight festival, it's been announced.
Young's exclusive performance will close the event, which runs from June 12th-14th.
Festival organiser John Giddings said he had to book the veteran singer to perform every year since the event restarted.
“His music is part of my life and has inspired generations ever since,” he said. “I'm sure that his performance will be talked about for years to come.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Stereophonics and Razorlight are among the band's performing at this year's festival.
Tickets for the Isle of Wight festival are on sale now and available through Gigwise here.
