Duke Special is commemorating the 60th anniversary of the 7inch vinyl record with a very special show this Friday (March 6).
In an innovative move, the Belfast singer – real name Peter Wilson - and a six-piece band will record four live tracks live to vinyl at The Metropolis Studios in London.
Songs performed on the night will include Duke Special's own 'Diggin’ an Early Grave' plus the first ever 45rpm 7 inch vinyl record 'Texarkarna Baby' by country singer Eddie Arnold, originally released Stateside in March 1949.
Just 25 lucky fans will attend the show, where they will receive an individually numbered 7inch vinyl on the way out. Tickets cost £45, email the following address for details: info@selectents.com
