Britney Spears has rubbished claims she is to personally appear at a number of aftershow parties on her US tour.
The singer, who begins her tour tomorrow (March 2nd) in New Orleans, said on her website that she was only scheduled to appear at an afterparty in Montreal.
“Please don't mislead our fans,” a statement said. “The only appearance Britney is scheduled to make is at Tribe/Hyper Club in Montreal.”
Various posters featuring a picture of Spears have claimed the singer will be appearing at club venues after the conclusion of concerts on her 25-date tour.
“Despite many rumours and advertisements, as of now, Britney Spears will not be appearing at any afterparties in any markets other then Montreal,” the statement on Spears' website added.
Spears' tour is in support of her latest album, 'Circus', which was released last December.
