U2 have spoken about the possibility of performing at the Glastonbury music festival.
Singer Bono told the BBC that the group won't be playing at this year's event, but suggested they were keen to play there in the future.
"I know lots of people who love music want us to play that,” the singer said. “It's something we're working up our whole life to do.
“I think that we can commit that we really, really want to do this."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Bono also discussed the group's impending tour during an appearance on Radio 1, saying it would start in “early summer”.
The band hope to offer cheaper tickets to fans because of the current recession, he said.
