Blur will perform at this summer's Glastonbury festival, frontman Damon Albarn has said.
The recently reformed band are expected to top the bill after organiser Michael Eavis confirmed their participation earlier this week.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Albarn revealed that the band were also asked to perform at last year's festival.
"Yeah, we're doing Glasto this year,” he said. “We were asked last year, but we turned them down."
At present, Bruce Springsteen is the only confirmed headliner, with Neil Young also rumoured to be performing.
Meanwhile, Eavis also confirmed that Lily Allen will be performing at the event because “she was practically born at the festival anyway”.
The Glastonbury festival will take place from June 26th-28th. Tickets have already sold out.
