Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis has revealed that Blur will headline this year's festival in Somerset.
Eavis, who co-founded the event, appeared to confirm the recently reformed band's participation when asked about media reports that claimed the band were performing.
“Yeah, you can look forward to that, yeah but it’s not officially announced yet,” he told BBC 6Music.
“Bit more work to do on that yet but you will not be disappointed, I can assure you.”
At present, Bruce Springsteen is the only confirmed headliner, with Neil Young also rumoured to be performing.
Eavis also confirmed that Lily Allen will be performing at the event because “she was practically born at the festival anyway”.
The Glastonbury festival will take place from June 26th-28th. Tickets have already sold out.
