Rihanna Pictured On Holiday After Alleged Chris Brown Attack

A new photograph of Rihanna, apparently taken during her current holiday in the Mexico, has been published by a US newspaper.

The New York Daily News claims the picture was taken on Saturday (February 21st) – the day after the singer's 21st birthday.

In the photograph Rihanna doesn't appear to show any physical injuries from her reported assault by boyfriend and singer Chris Brown.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Rihanna arrived in Mexico last week amid reports Brown assaulted her during an argument in a Los Angeles suburb.

Brown was questioned by police on February 7th following a complaint of assault from an unknown woman, reported to be Rihanna.

Last Friday, celebrity website TMZ published a picture, apparently of Rihanna, which appeared to show the star with facial injuries.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said yesterday they were “vigorously” investigating how the photo had entered the public domain, but refused to confirm whether the woman in the picture was Rihanna.

Brown is due to appear in court in March over the incident, which happened ahead of a scheduled appearance at the Grammy Awards.
