Michael Jackson is in talks to stage a 30-night run at the O2 Arena in London, according to reports.
The concerts, which could earn the singer as much as £45million, are expected to begin in July.
According to the Telegraph, talks between Jackson and promoter AEG Live are at an advanced stage.
Speculation about Jackson's future as a performer increased in January when his spokesman said the singer had returned to Los Angeles in order to relaunch his career.
Despite reports about the singer's supposed bad health, Jackson's spokesman, Tohme Tohme, said "the second half (of Jackson's career) will be better than the first."
If confirmed, Jackson's residency at the O2 Arena would eclipse Prince's 21-night run at the venue in 2007.
