Rihanna Photo Emerges Showing Facial Injuries

A shocking photograph has emerged of the injuries Rihanna sustained in the alleged Chris Brown assault on February 8.

TMZ.com obtained the photo of the singer taken shortly after 19-year-old Brown is alleged to have attacked her in the car park after the pre-Grammy awards party.

The close-up of Rihanna's face clearly shows cuts to the lips, scratch marks and bruising to her forehead.

Brown, who issued a statement on Sunday apologising for his actions, is still under investigation by police following his charges. He has also hired PR guru, Alan Nierob, to help rescue his beleaguered career.
