Coldplay's Chris Martin has said the band had “a shit day” at The Brit Awards.
The band were up for four awards – including the Best British Album for 'Viva La Vida...' - but ultimately walked away empty handed.
Shortly before performing the Take That track 'Back For Good' at Coldplay's War Child gig at Shepherd's Bush Empire, Martin joked: “We just got back from Japan. We lost out on all our Brits.
“It’s been a shit day frankly, but it's going to get better for me and for you. Please welcome Mr Gary Barlow!”, reports The Sun.
As reported earlier, at the charity event after the Brits ceremony Coldplay were joined by U2 frontman and Bono, while The Killers also performed live.
