Amy Winehouse's Mother Confirms Divorce Is Going Ahead

Amy Winehouse's mother Janis has confirmed that the singer's divorce to Blake Fielder-Civil is still going ahead.

Blake, of course, is currently behind bars for causing actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice and his lawyers filed papers last month to end the marriage.

Wino was later reported to have had second thoughts about the break-up, planning a trip back to Britain from her current sunshine break in the Caribbean in a final effort to salvage their relationship.

But speaking to Heat magazine, Janis says it's final: "The divorce proceedings are still going ahead. Her dad Mitch deals with that side of things."

Asked whether Blake would be getting any money from the divorce, she added: “I don't know what is happening with regards to Blake. All I know is that we have always looked after her finances. We have a company where all of Amy's money goes. We're a family and we make sure we look after one another."
