Mike Skinner has hit back at Lily Allen after she labelled him “boring”.
Allen said while on her North American promotional jaunt last week: “There’s a guy called Mike Skinner who records as The Streets and he did a record that basically talked about how awful it was to be rich and famous. I found that really boring.”
Reacting on his Twitter page this morning, The Streets lynchpin wrote: “I'm glad Lily Allen thinks my music is boring. At least she's not stalking me any more.”
As reported earlier today, The Streets are amongst the names confirmed for the dance day of Wireless Festival on July 4. Also on the bill are Dizzee Rascal and headliners Basement Jaxx.
