Basement Jaxx have been confirmed as the headliners of the 'dance day' at this year's Wireless festival.
The duo, Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe, will play the Hyde Park event on July 4, following in the footsteps of previous dance day headliners Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk.
Jaxx said of the prestigious slot: “Frank Sinatra once said "It's very nice to go traveling but it's so much nicer to come home" and he was right. It's going to be a mad summer for us, playing in all four corners of the world, but we are really looking forward to coming back to the very heart of London and playing at Wireless.”
Dizzee Rascal has also been confirmed for the main stage, while The Streets will headline the second stage.
Tickets go on sale from 9am this coming Wednesday (February 18) with a limited number of Early Bird tickets costing £40.
As always, check Gigwise for ticket availability by calling 0871 230 1098 or by going to the Gig Tickets section.
