Live Nation have denied rumours they are about to sign a multi-rights deal with Janet Jackson.
Several reports have surfaced over the last 24 hours suggesting that the singer, who split with Island Def Jam in 2008, was about to sign a similar 360 deal to the ones Live Nation agreed with Jay-Z and Madonna.
However, Live Nation have now come out and denied they are even contemplating the deal despite the fact they promoted her tour last year.
"We have not signed a deal with Janet, nor are we currently in discussions with the artist," said John Vlautin, senior VP of communications for Live Nation.
Jackson has split with two labels in the past two years, she left her long term deal with Virgin in 2007.
