U2 have penned a deal to be David Letterman's house band on his popular US chat show for an entire week.
The Irish rockers will be guests on the show, filmed in New York, in the run-up to the release of their twelfth studio album 'No Line On The Horizon'.
The residency will mark the first time a band have performed for a consecutive week on the show.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Hollywood actor turned rapper Joaquin Phoenix appeared on David Letterman on Wednesday evening and gave one of the most cringe-worthy interviews in memory.
