Terminator Salvation director McG says he wants Radiohead's Thom Yorke to contribute music to the upcoming movie.
Danny Elfman is composing the score to the summer release, however at the New York Comic Con at the weekend McG said he has reached out to Yorke and Academy Award-winning Argentinian composer Gustavo Santaolalla to compose some music.
McG told the crowd: "We talked about Gustavo getting together with Thom Yorke from Radiohead which I thought would be very interesting. And they may still do a couple of sounds for the movie," reports The Playlist.
On Danny Elfman – who composed The Simpsons theme and music for a number of Tim Burton movies – McG said: "I needed someone who understood film as a whole and understood the delicate nature of humanity and the the brutality of the machines."
McG also confirmed that the iconic original Terminator theme written by Brad Fiedel will be included in the movie “if appropriate”.
