Green Day have unveiled the artwork to their much anticipated eighth studio album 21st 'Century Breakdown'.
Very Banksy-esque, the cover is a stencilled image of a couple in a passionate embrace on a graffiti-ed wall.
The artwork was directed by R.E.M's staff designer Chris Bilheimer who is the man behind such album sleeves as 'Monster', 'New Adventures In Hi-Fi' and 'Up'.
As previously reported, '21st Century Breakdown' is expected to be release in mid-May and has been recorded with former Nirvana producer and Garbage star Butch Vig.
