Slipknot, The Prodigy and Motley Crue are amongst the first acts confirmed for Download Festival 2009.
Also joining the bill at the legendary rock festival are Korn, Devildriver, Dragonforce and somewhat strangely, Pendulum.
The event will once again be held at Donington Park on the weekend of June 12-14.
Tickets go on sale from 9am this coming Friday (February 13) ) and will be available through Gigwise by calling 0871 230 1098 or by going to the Gig Tickets section HERE.
