Blink 182 announced that they are to reform after a four year break at the 51st Grammy Awards in Los Angeles yesterday evening.
Band members Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus patched up their friendship after former bandmate Travis Barker was almost killed in a plane crash last year.
The three-piece appeared onstage together to present Coldplay with their Best Rock Album award for 'Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends' at the Staples Center when they made the announcement.
Travis Barker, still wearing a sling in his arm, told the crowd: "We used to play music together and we decided we're gonna be playing music together again", before Hoppus continued "Blink-182 is back!"
A message later appeared on the Blink 182 website confirming that they were reforming, recording an album together and preparing a tour.
