Will Young will make his debut on the BBC's political talk show Question Time tonight (February 5th).
The pop star, who revealed he was a fan of the programme last year, will sit on a panel that includes Shami Chakrabarti of Liberty and government minister Geoff Hoon.
UKIP's Nigel Farage and Conservative shadow minister Theresa May will also appear.
Young was invited to appear on the programme in October by Question Time editor Gill Penlington.
Penlington heard the singer speak about his fondness for the programme during a phone in on BBC Radio 5 Live.
"We are absolutely thrilled to have Will as a panellist,” she said. “He knows his stuff politically and it will be fascinating to hear him taking on the politicians about the big issues of the day."
Young has already said he has been "swotting up on the hot topics".
Question Time will air tonight at 10.35pm on BBC One.
