Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been invited to give a talk at the Trinity College in Dublin on Friday (February 6th).
Doherty will talk about “life, love and much more” and be open for questions from students.
The singer will follow in the footsteps of Dame Helen Mirrem and Oscar Wilde, who have both given talks for The University Philosophical Society.
A statement on the society's website says: “Come for a taste of what a rock 'n roll (hopefully minus the sex and drugs) lifestyle entails and if you have any burning questions to ask, bring those too!”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Doherty is currently preparing to release his debut solo album 'Grace/Wastelands', which is out on March 16th.
The singer spent yesterday (February 3rd) promoting the album beneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
