Lily Allen has said she would “love” to be a judge on the X Factor.
The singer, who releases her new album next week, told The Sun newspaper that she was a big fan of the TV series.
Her comments follow reports that bosses are currently searching for a replacement for present judge Dannii Minogue.
“I haven’t been asked but I’d love to do it. The world would be a lesser place if we did not have winners Leona Lewis and Alexandra (Burke),” Allen said.
“It’s a great programme — and I think I’d be quite good.”
Last month, singer Charlotte Church also suggested she would like to join Minogue's fellow judges Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell.
But Church expressed doubt over whether she could commit to the programme.
Allen's second album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', is released on Monday (February 9th).
