Pete Doherty 'Threatened With Eviction From Country Manor'

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is facing eviction from his country home in Wiltshire, according to reports.

The Earl of Cardigan, who owns Doherty's property near Marlborough, is reported to be angered that the singer has allowed the house to fall into disrepair.

“We’ve had a few problems. It’s high time Mr Doherty found somewhere else to live,” he told The Sun newspaper.

Doherty is understood to have been dividing his time of late between his Marlborough home and a property in Paris.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Doherty is due to head out on a UK tour this spring.

The 12-date jaunt will coincide with the release of his debut solo album, 'Grace/Wastelands' on March 16th.
