Singer Lily Allen has claimed she is “over-exposed” by the media.
The singer, who was photographed on Saturday (January 31st) wearing a revealing outfit at a gig in London, said constant press attention had given people the wrong impression.
“I don’t need publicity. It’s difficult as you want people to appreciate you for your music,” Allen told GMTV's Lorraine Kelly.
“People get confused and think you’re a celebrity and that’s quite hard for me. People can be quite cynical. I feel I’m over-exposed.”
Following her interview yesterday morning (February 2nd), Allen was pictured outside the GMTV studios enjoying a snowball fight with paparazzi.
She later joined her friends, TV presenter Nick Grimshaw, singer Remi Nicole and fashion designer Henry Holland, sledging on Primrose Hill.
Allen is due to release her second album, 'It's Not Me, It's You', on Monday (February 9th).
The singer showcased more than her new album during a performance on Saturday, wowing fans at G-A-Y by wearing an all-blue sailors' outfit with matching stockings.
