Kelly Rowland has split from her manager Mathew Knowles.
Knowles, the father of Rowland's former Destiny's Child bandmate Beyonce, said the pair had parted ways on mutual terms.
"After a very positive meeting between Kelly Rowland and myself, we have amicably agreed to end our professional relationship,” Knowles said in a statement.
Rowland, who said Knowles had been a “positive influence” on her career, is believed to have grown frustrated at her lack of solo success in the US.
Knowles' company Music World is to continue managing Destiny's Child as a group.
