Morrissey has been interviewed by comedian and lifelong fan Russell Brand for his new album, 'Years of Refusal'.

The singer, who rarely gives interviews, was quizzed extensively by Brand about the record during a twenty minute discussion.

The interview, entitled Wrestle with Russell, also covers Morrissey's thoughts on fame, image and his hair.

You can watch an exclusive clip from the interview here.

The interview will be included on a deluxe edition of 'Years Of Refusal', which is released in the UK on February 16th.

  • Do you have any canned laughter? Oh my goodness, I adore them both :] I love hearing Russell interview Moz. They play off eachother surprisingly well, and Moz seems genuinely relaxed.
