Veteran rock band AC/DC will appear at World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Wrestlemania XXV event in Houston, Texas, it's been revealed.
The band will perform the theme for this year's pay-per-view, which will take place on April 5th.
Online wrestling magazine Wrestling-Edge reports that WWE CEO Linda McMahon announced AC/DC's participation at the recent 36th annual Global Media and Communications Conference in New York.
Her husband and WWE chairman Vince McMahon is understood to be a huge fan of the band.
For wrestling fans, Wrestlemania is traditionally regarded as the biggest night of the year in sports entertainment.
In recent years the event has seen high-octane battles between the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Ausin and The Undertaker and Kane.
