Velvet Revolver star Scott Weiland has made a vow to stay away from drugs after his addiction to heroin nearly ruined his marriage.
Weiland’s second wife Mary Forsberg filed for divorce in 2003 as she was unable to cope with his self destructive and erratic behaviour, reports FemaleFirst.
After many arrests and several trips to rehab, Weiland is trying to stay sober in order to win back his wife and two children.
He said: "The prospect of losing my wife and my children changed everything. I don't think anymore about getting high.
"Right now, for the first time in my life, I'm finally happy."
