Amy Winehouse Spending Thousands On Caribbean Holiday

Amy Winehouse has spent thousands of pounds during her holiday on the Caribbean island of St Lucia, it's been reported.

Winehouse is said to have treated fellow hotel guests and other people she “barely knows” to expensive food and drink.

“Some are friends but the majority are just outsiders who have latched on to her and taken advantage,” a source told the Sun newspaper.

“They see her as an open cheque book. In one night, Amy’s bill for this enormous group of at least 30 people came to £10,000.”

The newspaper also claims that Winehouse, who has been on the island since before Christmas, has been seeing a hotel worker.

Earlier this month, the singer was linked to a fellow tourist, Josh Bowman, who has since left.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse's father, Mitch, said today (January 20th) that his daughter's health had been improving during her holiday.
