Lily Allen has said it was “totally mad” to learn that president-elect Barack Obama owned a copy of her debut album, 'Alright Still'.
Mr Obama was given the CD by Conservative Party leader David Cameron during a visit to the UK last summer.
However, in an interview with the Telegraph, Allen expressed doubt as to whether Mr Obama had actually listened to the record.
She said: "I wondered if he listened to it. I just assume that someone took them off him and put them in a bag somewhere, or threw it away, but a little part of me was thinking maybe he was sitting on the plane on the way back: 'Michelle? Have a listen to this. She's funny...'"
As previously reported on Gigwise, Mr Cameron also gave president-elect Obama copies of albums by Radiohead, The Smiths and Gorillaz.
Mr Obama will officially be unveiled as the next US president at an inauguration ceremony in Washington DC tomorrow (January 20th).
